Facial‑Flex® – Reassembly
A Facial‑Flex® is broken only if one of the small balls or one of the horns in the middle of the device are broken or snapped off. In all other cases the Facial‑Flex® is merely dismantled and is in two separate parts. To re-assemble the Facial‑Flex® you need to clip the two stainless steel bars into the two grooves in the small balls in the centre of the device.
For ease of recognition, the different parts of the device have the following names:
- the horns (for the Flex-band)
- the metal bars
- the small central balls
- the grooves in the small central balls
- the end butts
STEP 1. Place the two parts of the device on a flat surface
To re-assemble a Facial‑Flex®, place the two parts of the device on a table, in the following manner:
- The two horns for the Flex-bands pointing away from you ;
- The two grooves in the central balls visible, i.e. facing up ;
Check : if the two parts of the device are placed correctly on the table, the two end butts of the Facial‑Flex® will have their small part facing away from you and their larger part towards you
STEP 2. Put the two parts of the device in position
Hold the large part of the end butts between the thumb and index finger of each hand.
Place the bar of the left hand piece over the groove of the right hand small ball.
Keeping the left hand bar over that groove, lift the right hand end butt in order to position the right hand bar over the groove of the left hand small ball.
The two stainless steel bars are now positioned over the two grooves in the central small balls.
STEP 3. Clip the two parts of the device together
Now press firmly on the two bars and clip them into the two grooves.
STEP 4. Put a new band over the horns
Put a Flex-band onto the two horns to finish the assembly.
